Welcome to Jive Looneys!
We are Georgia & Natalina, Rock n Roll music and dance enthusiasts with over 20 years of dancing experience between us. We joined Jive Looneys 10 years ago and were soon hooked on the joy and happiness of the Rock n Roll scene.
In 2022 we were honored to be asked to take over the ownership, running and teaching of the club and we are so incredibly proud of how it has successfully grown into a vibrant and welcoming community.
For us, Jive Looneys isn’t just a dance club—it’s a place where people come together to have fun, learn something new, and enjoy great company. Our friendly atmosphere is at the heart of who we are, some might even say we are all a bit Looney!
Our members often tell us that “every Monday is like a party night—it’s that much fun!”
…and honestly, we couldn’t ask for a better compliment.

What to Expect
Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time or you’re an experienced dancer looking to sharpen your moves, we offer lessons for both beginners and improver dancers in a relaxed, supportive environment.
After the lessons, the evening opens into social dancing, where you’re free to enjoy the night however you like—dance to your heart’s content, soak up the great music, or simply sit, chat, and laugh with your fellow Looneys.
It’s your night, your way.
Our venue has a large wooden dance-floor, air conditioning, licenced bar, plenty of seating, wheelchair accessible via side entrance, and car park - with additional roadside parking.
cLASS DETAILS:
Lessons are relaxed, fun and we will go through each move thoroughly so that you feel confident at the end of the lesson to take the moves to the social dance-floor.
Lesson details:
Mondays: Beginner's 8-8:30pm / Improver's: 8:30-9pm
Social dancing from 9-10:30pm
£6 entry includes lesson & social dancing
Cash or Card payment is accepted
We also run a stroll lesson* starting at 8pm - think line dancing but to classic 50's tunes. This lesson will be followed by a mixed lesson at 8:30pm for both beginners/improvers, and then 9pm-1030pm social dancing.

What else is on...
Alongside our weekly classes and social dancing, we love bringing our Looney community together with a whole calendar of special events throughout the year. From themed party nights celebrating Valentine’s Day, Easter, Christmas, and more, to wonderfully silly themes like our famous “Back to School” night, there’s always something fun happening at Jive Looneys.
Don’t forget to check out the photo albums — trust us, some of those outfits and moments are absolutely hilarious and capture the true spirit of our Looney family!
We also mark meaningful occasions such as VE Day, Armed Forces Day, and plenty of other special dates… in all honesty, we’ll happily take any excuse for a party night.
And that’s not all! Throughout the year, Jive Looneys proudly hosts regular live band events, featuring some of the most popular rock ’n’ roll bands on the UK scene. These events are always buzzing with energy and are a favourite among our members — the perfect chance to dance, socialise, and soak up the incredible atmosphere that only live 50s music can bring.

Our Live Band Events Listing for 2026
Our fantastic live band events are such an enjoyable afternoon where we host the very best of the UK's Rock n Roll/Boogie Woogie bands as we know they will put on a fantastic performance. You can dance the afternoon away, or you may prefer to just sit and enjoy the music and atmosphere.
Either way, we would love to see you! Just make sure you get your ticket in advance as our events are very popular and tend to be sellouts and we wouldn't want you to be disappointed at not being able to be there.
